Islamic Society of Baltimore (ISB), located in the suburbs of Baltimore, in close proximity to the nation’s capital Washington, D.C., is among the largest growing Islamic Centers in the nation.  Among the many programs ISB provides, Al-Rahmah Quran Academy (AQA) is one of the main programs.

AQA is responsible for facilitating, planning, and organizing all religious and educational affairs at ISB.  This includes but are not limited to Halaqahs (lectures), Seminars, Khutbahs (sermon), Prayers, interfaith activities, funerals, pilgrimage and religious travel, spiritual counseling, classes, Islamic calendar announcements, zakah coordination, marriage officiation, and other religious programs.

AQA also has the world-renowned Tahfizul Quran program led by Qari Muhammad Zahid and Qari Muhammed Abid.  Established in 1999, this program assists students in memorizing the Quran and has produced over 175 huffaz.  The program is for both boys and girls.  Click Here for more information.

Our Vision

The instruction and governance of the AQA will be carried out by the QAB and in accordance with the clear teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). The AQA will function as an educational institution under the governance of the QAB.
